For example, the loop itinerary through the Prosecco Hills and the Treviso foothills is approximately 90 km long. Actual riding time is around two and a half hours, but taking in the views and enjoying the curves can easily turn it into a half-day excursion.

Stage 1: Valdobbiadene–Vittorio Veneto, 35 km: crossing the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage hills, with continuous ups and downs and curves that are perfect for motorcycles.

Stage 2: Vittorio Veneto–Fregona, 6 km: a short climb towards the area of the famous Caglieron Caves.

Stage 3: Fregona–Lake Revine, 15 km: descending through Tarzo and following the lakeside road.

Stage 4: Lake Revine–Follina, 11 km: a linear, scenic route at the foot of the Pre-Alps, with the historic Abbey of Santa Maria.

Stage 5: Follina–Pieve di Soligo, 7 km: a short downhill connecting section.

Stage 6: Pieve di Soligo–Valdobbiadene, 14 km: returning through the vineyards via Farra di Soligo.

    Distance: 90 km round trip.
    Type: winding main road, scenic hairpin bends, generally good road surface. Ideal for a half-day ride or as an intermediate stop on the way to the Friulian Dolomites.
  • Valdobbiadene – Feltre – Valbelluna
    Distance: 170 km round trip.
    Type: descent along the Piave River, followed by a climb towards the Belluno valley. A mix of roads, some fast and others more technical.
  • Valdobbiadene – Barcis (Lake Barcis, cover image) via Vajont
    Distance: 260 km round trip.
    Type: challenging but spectacular itinerary. It includes Passo San Boldo, the Vajont Dam and the Friulian Dolomites. Requires a motorcycle suitable for mountain climbs and a good level of riding preparation.

  • Valdobbiadene – Pieve di Cadore – Cortina d’Ampezzo
    Distance: 210 km round trip.
    Type: high-mountain route along scenic Dolomite roads. Best undertaken with experience riding at high altitude and in favorable weather conditions.
  • Valdobbiadene – Fiera di Primiero
    Distance: 290 km round trip.
    Type: provincial and main roads towards Valsugana. A mixed route through hills and lower mountains, ideal for a full day.
  • Valdobbiadene – Monte Grappa
    Distance: 150 km round trip.
    Type: technical and scenic climb to the military memorial at Cima Grappa, one of the main World War I military ossuaries, at an altitude of 1,776 m. The road is well paved but challenging, with breathtaking views over the Veneto plain and the Dolomites on clear days.
  • Valdobbiadene – Malga Ciapela
    Distance: 330 km round trip.
    Type: long itinerary through the Valbelluna, via Passo San Boldo or alternative routes through Belluno/Pieve di Cadore towards Alleghe, followed by the final climb to Malga Ciapela. Requires good preparation and a motorcycle suitable for long distances and high altitude
